Together, transforming lives

About Us

Established in response to the alarming findings of the 2007 Zambia Demographic Health Survey, revealing that approximately 42% of girls were married before turning 18, MUSOKOTWANE Compassion Mission Zambia (MCMZ) has been an unwavering youth-led force against Early, Forced Child Marriages and Sexual Exploitation since 2008 in Choma. With PBO status under Section 41 of Zambia’s Tax Income Act and Girls Not Brides membership, MCMZ annually rescues around fifty girls, providing them with secure shelter, essential care, and educational sponsorship at the Center of Excellence for Ending Child Marriages.
